VETERAN'S OUTREACH

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Veterans' Outreach is a therapeutic program designed to honor, empower, and improve the independence and life skills of Veterans with cognitive, physical, and/or emotional challenges. Like Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are but small matters compared to what lies within us!”

OVERVIEW

Dayspring’s "Veteran's Outreach" program is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Veterans, and their families. It offers services to clients using therapy horse programs to accomplish personal goals. Goals include trust, socialization, and communication through equine-assisted activities and therapies. Both mounted and unmounted activities are provided in a safe, peaceful setting. All Activities are non-judgmental, and professionally supervised in an environment where Veterans coping with emotional health disorders, such as Post Trauma Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Disorder, depression, substance abuse, grief, and more can feel at ease.
